습관은 유전적인 영향도 있고, 후천적인 영향도 있습니다.

유전적인 것은, 할아버지 할머니로부터도 영향을 받습니다.

후천적인 것은, 태아때부터 만들어 진다고 합니다.

엄마의 행동을 느끼고, 따라합니다.

많은 사람들이 습관은 고칠 수 없다고 믿습니다.

왜냐면 너무 오랜 시간동안 익숙해져있기 때문입니다.

사람은 물론, 동물에게도 습관이 있습니다.
Not just humans, but animals have habits also.

그리고 그 습관은 모두 다릅니다.
And they are all different.

습관은 유전적인 영향도 있고, 후천적인 영향도 있습니다.
Habits have hereditary effects, and also have acquired effects.

유전적인 것은, 할아버지 할머니로부터도 영향을 받습니다.
Hereditary ones are influenced by grandfather and grandmother as well.

후천적인 것은, 태아때부터 만들어 진다고 합니다.
Acquired ones are made from infancy. (Babies) feel their mother’s behaviors, and mimic them.

많은 사람들이 습관은 고칠 수 없다고 믿습니다.
Lots of people believe that habits can’t be fixed.

왜냐면 너무 오랜 시간동안 익숙해져있기 때문입니다.
It’s because we are used to them for too long.

하지만 습관은 연습을 통해서 고쳐질 수 있습니다.
But habits can be fixed through practicing.

이것은 동물을 대상으로 한 연구로도 밝혀졌습니다.
This has been confirmed by tests done on animals.

원숭이에게 먹이를 사용한 실험으로, 습관을 고쳤습니다.
Tests on monkeys using food fixed their habits.

원숭이는 사람과 비슷하기 때문에, 사람도 습관을 고칠 수 있습니다.
Because monkeys are similar to humans, humans’ habits can be fixed.
